From the motorcycle’s looks, it’s evident that the motorcycle carries the genes of its bigger brother, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 BS6. It gets a muscular fuel tank which is complemented by the sleek-looking headlamp upfront. It comes with a split seat setup and raised clip-on handlebars to make sure of sporty yet comfortable ergonomics. The rear part could’ve looked even more aggressive without the bulky tire hugger. But, the tire hugger is a sort of practice to keep muck and splashes away, particularly during monsoons. The underbelly exhaust further adds to the centralized mass.

The new greener 160.3cc air and oil-cooled motor now get fuel-injection, delivering 17.2PS at 9,000rpm and 14.6Nm at 7250rpm. For reference, the BS4 NS160 made 15.5PS at 8500rpm and 14.6Nm at 6500rpm. While power is up by 1.7PS, torque output remains equal.

Bajaj Pulsar NS160 Suspension and Brakes
The NS160 BS6 gets an equal perimeter frame as before. Suspension duties are handled by conventional telescopic forks and an adjustable monoshock. Its braking setup consists of one 260mm petal disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear. The NS160 gets single-channel ABS. The bike gets a 90/90-section front and 120/80-section rear tires with 17-inch alloys.
