BMW has upped the price of the BMW G 310 R for 2021. With a hike of Rs 5,000, the bike now costs Rs 2.5 lakh instead of the earlier Rs 2.45 lakh.
No mechanical or cosmetic change has been made to the G 310 R. It’s available in three colors — Cosmic Black, Polar White, Limestone Metallic.
BMW G 310 R BS6 Price:
The newly launched BMW G 310 R BS6 has priced at Rs 2.45 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs Rs 54,000 cheaper than the outgoing BS4 model. It’s available in three new liveries: Cosmic Black, Polar White, and ‘Style Sport’ in Limestone Metallic which can cost you a further Rs 10,000 over the ex-showroom price of the bike.
BMW G 310 R BS6 Features:
The BS6 update brings with it a replacement LED headlight running LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, ride-by-wire throttle, a slipper clutch, and adjustable brake and clutch levers. The bike also gets GTT (Glide Through Traffic) which works sort of a torque-assist allowing the bike to amble around at slow speed by just modulating the clutch.
BMW G 310 R BS6 Engine:
The G 310 R is powered by a BS6-compliant 313cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor which makes 34PS at 9,500rpm and 28Nm at 7,500rpm, an equivalent as before. Its 6-speed transmission now features an error & assist clutch.

BMW G 310 R BS6 Suspension & Brakes:
Suspension duties are handled by 41mm upside-down forks up front and a mono-shock at the rear. A 300mm disc up front and a 240mm disc at the rear handle braking duties with dual-channel ABS. Its 17-inch alloys are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Street tires, measuring 110/70 at the front and 150/60 at the rear. With a saddle height of 785 mm, riders of all sizes should be ready to get astride the G 310 R and manage it with ease.
