Yamaha XSR155 Design & Features
The XSR155 follows Yamaha’s ‘Sport Heritage’ design almost like the XSR 700 and XSR 900 that are available in international markets. The bike comes with a tear-drop-shaped tank, with a full-LED headlamp and full-LED taillight setup along with a single-piece seat that adds to its old-school charm.
Moreover, the XSR155 comes with sports headlamp brackets, a redesigned sump guard, and a redesigned exhaust plate that features a pore-like design inspired by retro motorcycles. The bike uses an equal Deltabox frame and 155cc engine that does duty on the R15-V3 and so the MT-15.
It rides on upside-down forks at the front alongside a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking is completed by disc brakes at both ends. But, the Indian-spec model will sport telescopic forks upfront and also get a single-channel ABS to help in braking.
Yamaha has designed the XSR155 with a single-pod instrument cluster along with a particular semi-circle tachometer that displays all vital information, The XSR155 is available in four color schemes- White/Red Sports Heritage, Black Elegance, Green Wanderlust, and Premium Grey.
